lul i maxed all my launchers and stunners, and got bbq cancel and steyr. lacks backstep + cancel, but i dunno jacksht about rangers and ive seen some people do cool stuff with bbq cancel (male gunners). suggestions pl0x

edit: took off steyr cuz i lacked the sp for rising topspin. im thinking of reducing rising shot to 10 and getting backstep cancel and some other things like steyr and flamethrower.

Female Rangers have hax kick attacks (mach kick, air raid etc etc) so a lot of people specialize in the kicks.

steyr is fking deadly, instead of hitting someone, and then exploding like the male version does, the female version has it so where when it hits someone, it immediately explodes.....three times...pushing them back as well on all three hits. def want that. but yeah i heard most of the upper skills (multi headshot equiv.) kinda fails, so i didnt put it that high. people say to specialize in the kicks mostly, so thats what i did. not sure if it's the best build ever, probably not....can't be as bad as brunos zerker build though i'll tell you that.

lul k, ill max the stunners and the kicks (fking male revenger pisses me off so much with the stun... and the 12 sec cooldown). i dont need max rising shot do i? i saw some male rangers do ground normal atks and canceled into rising shot. fking restarted a new combo chain with the launcher. i dunno if female rangers can do that though.

wut about backstep cancel? i know spits use it alot but do i need it as a ranger? i got most of the other cancels already. also, i maxed headshot for good crit and damage, should i push that down to 3? u said multi headshot was kinda lame, so i dunno if headshot is all that useful anymore.

and ill pass on brunos build, i dont really want grenades as a female ranger (or ill keep it at 1, u leveled it till 8), nor punisher at 5 + cancel

edit: i already have rising shot and marilyn rose as my launchers, is steep slide still worth getting?

backstep cancel, i'd say that was a personal preference imo for rangers. spitfires def need it since we can backstep nade. idk really, its just a personal preference imo. some people use it some people dont.

nades on a female gunner really are useless. the delay is fail. they're pretty usefull on the males though.

and steep slide is pretty good if u jack it up really high, however u can prolly use the points elsewhere. is it worth it imo? not really.


as for headshot, that'd be a pretty good idea to jack it up really high, forgot about that.

a good combo is:

marilyn --> rising shot ---> bbq ---> headshot ---> fastest gun ---> XXXXXX ---> fastest gun ETC ETC

remember to always have death by revolver on, its EXTREMELY USEFUL id recommend maxing that imho

lul i didnt intend on using revolvers but i guess i have no choice.
and wow @ my lack of sp, if i jack up topspin i cant max headshot and vice versa, same for revenger
does death by revolver raise the crit of my kicks too? also, the extra casting speed from leveling topspin, is it worth it? or should i just keep topspin at 5? fking hard to allocate points here, gunners are so OP, every skill seems worth getting. im considering ditching backstep altogether due to lack of sp
now i got a choice between maxing headshot, topspin, or revenger (spent too many points in pan revolver and death by revolver)

it gets some massive cooldown reduction though, like 10 seconds when maxed. that makes it as useful as phase shift. it also gets like 50% stun rate. i also heard female gunners were made of paper, so having something to stop combos with low cooldown seems pretty useful (unless they gunguard my counter, then im just fked)

lul srs lack of sp with this build, and i took off almost all my cancels apart from marilyn (gonna be doing the same combo over and over again)

replaced max revenger with secret land runner. gives me some sp to max topspin and get lv10 rising, but i still lack sp for the awakening and stuff.

i think that female rangers with the super shtty def definitely need either revenger or secret land runner to stop combos (secret land runner is useless against superarmor fgts like exos and slayers though)

i rly wanted my topspin cancel, but fk, this sp constraint is rly pissing me off

u dont need lvl11 sonic spike, lvl1 goes half away cross the pvp map on its on, lvl5 should be high enough, and wtf is with the lvl20 windmill o,o and no pan revolver or death by revolver o.o?

a kicking musket ranger build. if im not using revolvers, then whats the point of revolver buffs? also im going for combos, not pure damage (like fk i can afford a +11 revolver, and neither can u). extra crit isnt always a good thing either (for u it is). the more damage i do, the faster my opponent falls during air combos, and the goal of my build is to keep them in the air for as long as possible. doing stable non-crit damage should allow me to control it with greater ease. i DO need maxed sonic spike. read around the dfosource forums and its apparently super OP compared to male gunner's air raid. goes in a straight line hitting 3 times instead of launching in the air, so it doesnt count as air time combo, meaning i could beef it up to do as much damage as possible. if u didnt notice from my previous posts, im not sure about the lv20 topspin (windmills for males). apparently it has hax range compared to windmill and less cooldown, meaning im gonna be spamming it like no tomorrow. if thats the case i though the extra speed from leveling might come in handy. mind u i havent even tried playing as a female ranger yet, so this build is likely to change.
